Estimated Gross Profit

Gross Profit = (Sale Price per Part × Quantity) − [((Material per Part × Quantity × (1 + Waste Rate ÷ 100)) ÷ 1,000 × Material Cost per kg) + (Labor and Overhead per Part × Quantity)]

Where:

Calculate sales for all parts, then subtract material cost, labor and overhead. Material weight is increased by the waste allowance and converted from grams to kilograms before pricing it.
