Is this a full A/B testing cost calculator?
No. It focuses on bandwidth and egress only. It does not include platform subscriptions, development, analytics, storage, requests, or edge-compute charges.

It can help website owners, product teams, marketers, and engineers estimate the transfer effect of page variations before or during a test.
Traffic and Version Inputs
How visitor volume, allocation, and versions affect the estimate.
Should I enter visitors or page views?
Enter average daily visitors and average measured page views per visitor. The calculator multiplies them to estimate total page views.
Does total versions include the control?
Yes. Enter 2 for an A/B test, 3 for an A/B/C test, and so on.
How is test traffic allocated between versions?
The estimate assumes an even allocation among the control and every variation. Uneven allocations require a weighted calculation outside this assumption.
What does traffic included in test mean?
It is the percentage of measured page views assigned to the experiment. All other measured views are assumed to receive the control.

What page size should I use?
Use the average data delivered per page view after typical compression and caching effects, based on representative real traffic where possible.
Why might a variation use more bandwidth?
It may deliver larger images, more JavaScript, extra fonts, video, or other resources that increase transferred bytes.
Can the result show reduced bandwidth?
Yes. A lighter weighted test mix produces less transfer than the all-control baseline, resulting in a negative additional-transfer value.
Can I enter different sizes for every variation?
This calculator uses one average variation weight. Calculate a traffic-weighted average of the variations first if their sizes differ.

How to interpret egress prices and estimated costs.
Where do I find my egress rate per GB?
Check the pricing details or invoice from your CDN, hosting, or cloud provider. Use zero if egress is included or you only want the transfer estimate.
Why might actual billed cost differ?
Billing can vary by region, provider tier, free allowance, cache behavior, unit conventions, rounding, and additional billable services.
Does the calculator use GB or GiB?
It uses decimal GB and converts 1,000,000 KB to 1 GB. Provider documentation may use a different measurement convention.
Are calculator results financial advice?
No. They are general estimates for planning and comparison, not financial or professional advice.
How is additional A/B test bandwidth calculated?
