How it works
The calculator first works out how much of the battery you plan to fill by subtracting the starting charge from the target charge. It then converts that percentage into kWh using the battery capacity. Next, it adds charging losses to estimate the electricity drawn from the grid, and multiplies that by your electricity rate to estimate the cost of one charging session. Monthly and annual costs are based on repeating that same session over time.
