Sales Funnel Cost Calculator
Estimate your sales funnel costs, cost per lead, cost per customer, and return on ad spend from traffic, conversion rates, and spend inputs.
Overview
This sales funnel cost calculator helps you estimate how much it costs to generate leads and customers from your traffic. Enter your ad spend, visitor volume, conversion rates, average order value, and any extra funnel costs to review acquisition costs and expected revenue efficiency.
How it works
The calculator starts with your visitor count and applies your lead conversion rate to estimate how many leads you generate. It then applies your lead-to-customer rate to estimate customers. Total funnel cost is calculated by adding ad spend and other costs. From there, it divides total cost by leads and customers to estimate acquisition costs, and multiplies customers by average order value to estimate revenue. ROAS is calculated as estimated revenue divided by ad spend.

If you spend 5000 on ads and 1000 on other funnel costs, generate 10000 visitors, convert 20% into leads and 10% of leads into customers, you would estimate 2000 leads, 200 customers, 100000 in revenue, a total funnel cost of 6000, a cost per lead of 3.00, and a cost per customer of 30.00.
Frequently asked questions
What does this sales funnel cost calculator estimate?
It estimates your total funnel cost, cost per lead, cost per customer, estimated revenue, and return on ad spend based on your inputs.
What counts as other funnel costs?
Other funnel costs can include landing page software, email tools, creative production, agency fees, freelancers, and related campaign expenses.
Does this calculator include repeat purchases or lifetime value?
No. It uses average order value for the initial customer revenue unless you manually enter a value that reflects lifetime revenue.
What is a good cost per lead or cost per customer?
That depends on your industry, margins, average order value, and sales process. The calculator helps you compare your acquisition costs against your revenue model.
Why is ROAS based only on ad spend?
ROAS usually compares revenue to advertising spend only. Your total funnel cost is shown separately so you can also assess broader profitability.
