Your Details

Overview

A sales funnel PPC calculator helps you estimate how paid traffic may turn into leads, customers and revenue. Enter your ad spend, average cost per click, landing page conversion rate, lead-to-customer rate and average sale value to see how your funnel could perform.

How it works

The calculator starts by estimating how many clicks your budget can buy using your average cost per click. It then applies your landing page conversion rate to estimate leads, and your lead-to-customer rate to estimate customers. Revenue is calculated by multiplying customers by average sale value. Profit is revenue minus ad spend, while ROAS shows how much revenue is generated for each unit of ad spend.

How to use this calculator

  1. 1Enter your total PPC ad spend.
  2. 2Add your average cost per click.
  3. 3Enter the percentage of clicks that become leads.
  4. 4Enter the percentage of leads that become customers.
  5. 5Add your average sale value and review the estimated results.

With a 2000 ad spend and 2.50 cost per click, the campaign could generate about 800 clicks, 160 leads and 24 customers. At an average sale value of 500, that is around 12000 in revenue, 10000 in estimated profit and a 6.00x ROAS.

Frequently asked questions

What does this sales funnel PPC calculator estimate?

It estimates clicks, leads, customers, revenue, profit, ROAS and customer acquisition cost based on your PPC inputs.

What is ROAS in this calculator?

ROAS stands for return on ad spend. It shows how much revenue you generate for each amount spent on advertising.

Does profit include all business costs?

No. This version only subtracts ad spend from revenue, so it does not include operating costs, staff time, software, fulfilment or tax.

What is a good lead-to-customer rate?

That depends on your industry, offer, lead quality and sales process. Use your own historic conversion data where possible.

Can I use this for Google Ads or social ads?

Yes. The calculator works for any PPC channel as long as you can estimate spend, click cost and conversion rates.

Why are my actual results different from the estimate?

Real campaign performance can change due to targeting, ad quality, landing page experience, competition, seasonality and sales follow-up.
