Your Details

Overview

A Social Media Sales Calculator helps you estimate how many clicks, sales and how much revenue a campaign could generate based on your reach, click-through rate, conversion rate, average order value and total campaign cost. It is useful for setting realistic marketing goals and comparing campaign scenarios before you spend.

How it works

The calculator starts with your social media reach and applies the click-through rate to estimate how many people visit your site. It then applies the conversion rate to estimate how many of those visitors buy. Revenue is calculated by multiplying estimated sales by average order value. Return on ad spend is then worked out by dividing estimated revenue by campaign cost, while net revenue subtracts campaign cost from estimated revenue.

How to use this calculator

  1. 1Enter your expected or actual social media reach.
  2. 2Add the click-through rate for your post or ad campaign.
  3. 3Enter your website or landing page conversion rate.
  4. 4Type in your average order value.
  5. 5Add your total campaign cost and review the estimated clicks, sales, revenue and ROAS.
