How it works

The calculator first multiplies average printer power in kilowatts by print duration in hours to find active printer energy in kilowatt-hours. It adds any extra energy used per job, then applies the selected facility overhead percentage. The resulting energy per job is multiplied by the monthly number of jobs and the electricity rate to estimate monthly consumption and cost. Annual figures assume the same monthly activity for 12 months.
