How to Read Your Results
Adjusted filament weight includes both the extras allowance and the optional seasonal adjustment.
Base filament weight is the estimate before the seasonal adjustment.
Support and brim weight is a planning allowance, not a predicted slicer toolpath.
The 1.75 mm length output is a material-equivalent length, not a guarantee of spool winding or feed length.
Use the result to plan material availability, then check the slicer preview before printing.
Assumptions & Important Notes
- All examples use a simplified rectangular-volume method.
- Wall thickness means the combined thickness of the outer shell.
- Density is entered in grams per cubic centimetre.
- Seasonal adjustments are user-specific planning inputs.
