How it works
The calculator first divides conversions by visitors to find each variant's conversion rate. It then calculates the difference between those rates and standardizes it using a pooled conversion rate and the visitor counts. This produces a two-proportion z-score. The threshold progress result divides the absolute z-score by your chosen critical z-score: a result of 100% or more means the observed difference meets that selected threshold. A positive uplift favors Variant B, while a negative uplift favors Variant A.
