How it works

The calculator applies the VAT rate to the amount you enter. In add mode, it multiplies the net amount by the VAT rate and adds that VAT to get the gross total. In remove mode, it divides the gross amount by one plus the VAT rate to find the net amount, and the difference is the VAT included. In Etsy fee mode, it estimates the fee from the order amount using the fee percentage and fixed fee, then calculates VAT on that fee.
