Sales Funnel ROAS Calculator
Estimate return on ad spend across your sales funnel using ad spend, traffic, conversion rates and average order value.
Overview
The Sales Funnel ROAS Calculator helps you estimate how ad spend turns into revenue through key funnel stages. Enter your ad spend, clicks, landing page conversion rate, sales conversion rate and average order value to see estimated leads, customers, revenue and return on ad spend.
How it works
This calculator follows a simple funnel model. It multiplies clicks by the landing page conversion rate to estimate leads, then multiplies leads by the sales conversion rate to estimate customers. Revenue is estimated by multiplying customers by average order value. ROAS is then calculated by dividing revenue by ad spend. It also estimates cost per click, cost per lead and customer acquisition cost to help you evaluate funnel efficiency.
How to use this calculator
- 1Enter your total ad spend for the campaign or reporting period.
- 2Add the number of clicks generated by your ads.
- 3Enter the percentage of clicks that become leads.
- 4Enter the percentage of leads that become customers.
- 5Add your average order value and review the estimated revenue and ROAS.
Example Calculation
Ad Spend
$5,000
Ad Clicks
10000
Landing Page Conversion Rate
25%
Sales Conversion Rate
8%
Average Order Value
$120
Estimated Revenue
$24,000
With $5,000 in ad spend, 10,000 clicks, a 25% landing page conversion rate, an 8% sales conversion rate and a $120 average order value, the funnel would estimate 2,500 leads, 200 customers, $24,000 in revenue and a 4.80x ROAS.
Frequently asked questions
What does this calculator estimate?
It estimates leads, customers, revenue, ROAS, cost per lead and customer acquisition cost based on your funnel inputs.
What is ROAS?
ROAS stands for return on ad spend. It shows how much revenue you generate for each unit of advertising spend.
How is ROAS calculated?
ROAS is calculated by dividing estimated revenue by ad spend.
Does this calculator include lifetime value?
No. It uses average order value for the revenue estimate unless you manually enter a value that reflects customer lifetime revenue.
What is a good ROAS?
That depends on your margins, overheads, fulfilment costs and business model. A higher ROAS is generally better, but profitability depends on more than ad spend alone.
Why does my actual result differ from the estimate?
Actual performance can differ because of attribution delays, refunds, tracking gaps, fluctuating conversion rates and changes in traffic quality.
