Sales Funnel Webinar Revenue Calculator

Estimate webinar funnel revenue based on registration volume, attendance rate, conversion rate and average order value.

Your Details

Overview

The Sales Funnel Webinar Revenue Calculator helps you estimate how much revenue a webinar campaign could produce from your ad spend, registration costs, attendance rate, conversion rate and average order value. It is useful for planning campaigns, setting targets and comparing webinar funnel scenarios before you spend more on traffic.

How it works

The calculator starts by estimating registrations from ad spend divided by cost per registration. It then applies your attendance rate to estimate attendees, your live sales conversion rate to estimate immediate buyers, and your follow-up sales rate to estimate extra buyers from the attendees who did not purchase live. Total sales are multiplied by average order value to estimate gross revenue, and ad spend is subtracted to estimate net revenue. Return on ad spend is calculated as gross revenue divided by ad spend.

How to use this calculator

  1. 1Enter your planned ad spend.
  2. 2Add your average cost per registration.
  3. 3Enter the percentage of registrants who attend the webinar.
  4. 4Enter the percentage of attendees who buy during the webinar.
  5. 5Add your average order value and expected follow-up sales rate.
  6. 6Review the estimated revenue, sales volume, ROAS and acquisition cost.

With $2,000 in ad spend and a $10 cost per registration, the funnel generates about 200 registrations and 80 attendees. At a 10% live conversion rate plus 3% follow-up conversion on non-buyers, that leads to about 10.2 total sales, roughly $8,160 in gross revenue and about $6,160 after ad spend.

Frequently asked questions

What does this calculator estimate?

It estimates webinar registrations, attendees, sales, gross revenue, net revenue, return on ad spend and customer acquisition cost.

What is a good webinar attendance rate?

Attendance rates vary by audience and webinar type, but many webinar funnels fall somewhere around 20% to 45%. Your own historical data is the best benchmark.

What is the sales conversion rate in this calculator?

It is the percentage of attendees who buy during or immediately after the live webinar presentation.

What does follow-up sales rate mean?

It is the extra percentage of non-buying attendees who convert later through follow-up emails, calls or replay offers.

Does net revenue mean profit?

No. In this calculator, net revenue only subtracts ad spend. It does not subtract tools, payroll, commissions, merchant fees, taxes or refunds.

Can I use this calculator for organic webinar funnels?

Yes. If your registrations are not driven by ads, you can enter a very low traffic cost if you want to model promotional spend, but the results will still be a simplified estimate.
