How it works
The calculator converts monthly filament consumption into average daily use, then multiplies it by your selected days of stock cover. That target inventory is converted into whole spools and then into whole bins. It estimates the shelf footprint from the bin footprint, reduces it across the available shelf levels, and adds allowances for less-than-full shelves and access aisles. The volume result is the combined internal volume of the required bins.
