A single play is usually easier to understand in MB, while a large number of plays is easier to summarize in GB.

What does a positive bandwidth difference mean?
It means Variant B is estimated to transfer less data than Variant A across the expected plays.
What does a negative cost difference mean?
It means Variant B is estimated to cost more to deliver than Variant A at the entered delivery rate.
Does a 25% bitrate reduction always produce 25% lower transfer?
Under the calculator's constant-bitrate, full-play assumptions, yes. In live delivery, overhead and other factors can change the observed result.
Why is the savings result small even with a large percentage reduction?
Savings also depend on duration, play volume, and the delivery rate. A large percentage can still represent a small number of GB at low volume.

Will the estimate match my CDN invoice exactly?
Not necessarily. CDN bills may include tiers, regions, requests, storage, taxes, minimums, or other charges not included here.
How do partial plays affect the result?

Does caching reduce the calculated transfer?
