It is a volume-based weight calculated here as length × width × height ÷ 5,000.
Why does the calculator use the higher weight?
The higher value is the chargeable weight in this estimate, reflecting either physical mass or the parcel space used.
Can changing packaging lower the result?
A smaller safe package can reduce dimensional weight, but protection requirements and carrier rules should still be considered.

What is a seasonal shipping surcharge?
It is an extra percentage charge that may apply during high-demand periods. Its amount and timing vary by carrier and service.
Where is the seasonal surcharge applied?
This calculator applies it to the full standard shipping cost: the base charge plus the chargeable-weight charge.
What happens if there is no seasonal fee?

Does the seasonal fee change chargeable weight?
